In this section we'll review PIRRSNL select funds and funds that are owned by
Your Personal Portfolio subscribers. The
Fund DataBase, in spreadsheet form, compares funds' performance to the average performance
of the funds in their respective categories (i.e. Growth, Aggressive Growth, Growth &
Income, etc.) for 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, and 10 year time periods.
PIRRSNL also recommends that its subscribers consider no-load or low load funds
rather than load funds. There are so many funds out there, there is no reason an investor
needs to pay a load in order to get great performance. However, some load funds are
leaders in their investment category and are included in the PIRRSNL fund data base.
